About De Anza BadmintonIn 2008-2009, after a five-year hiatus, Intercollegiate Women's Badminton returned to De Anza College. The De Anza Badminton Team is open to all students who are willing to commit themselves and work to excel at badminton. Prior competitive experience is desired but not required. Although the Women’s Traveling Team carries to 6-12 athletes to each match, and there is room for many more to take part in the training and exhibitions. Male athletes who are willing to work will be afforded exhibition opportunities against collegiate opposition. In the last five years the men competed against Stanford, San Jose State and Evergreen Valley. Our goal to give all De Anza Students the opportunity to raise their level of play.
