How do we successfully implement De Anza's Sustainability Management Plan?

1. Watch U.N. Conference-Teenager's speech
2. How do we best implement sustainability, according to our SMP?

Timeline: President develops roles and procedures to implement the SMP (2 hours)

• Six areas of focus (plus community and civic engagement)
• CEAG work
• Need sustainability coordinator/consultant for this
• Reporting structure, who manages based on the plan, clear about roles. Define roles.
• Update from Frank, Jeanine
• Clear decision on what is happening
• Timeline for hiring-how long, based on funding
• Lane Community College document

Timeline: Develop detailed written processes/procedures to implement (1 hour)

Brainstorm on the 6 areas of focus (plus community and civic engagement)

• We are implementing for eventual certification.
• Coordinator, consultant does this
• Go through SMP
