We are Committed to Your Success

The mission of the Counseling and Advising Center is to facilitate student success by offering a comprehensive range of quality services that promote educational, career and personal development.

 

To this end, as an integral entity of De Anza's educational community, the Center promotes and supports diversity of culture and learning by providing services to enhance the learning environment and address the diverse needs of all student.

 

We will help you navigate educational planning decisions about De Anza's Degree and Certificate programs and General Education patterns for Associate Degrees and Transfer Planning.

GETTING STARTED Workshop

Sign Up Online Getting Started WorkshopThis one-hour workshop will help
you register for Summer 2013 classes.

Sessions start June 3. Sign up as soon as you receive your student ID and check back if the appointments are not available in the system yet.  

Register for COUN 200

4 studentsThese classes are offered through the academic year to help you navigate the educational environment.

You must take a COUN 200: Orientation to College class to receive all the information you need to pursue a certificate, degree and/or transfer to a four-year college/university. This 1/2 unit class provides the foundation you'll want before you meet one-on-one with a counselor or academic advisor.
