A Message from your Instructor
Welcome to online Developmental Aspects of Psychology! Please check the email account linked to your De Anza registration for the syllabus and online registration instructions.
To register for the course, go to MyDevelopmentLab.com, find "Register", click "Student" and when prompted enter the course ID: healy92242. You will then be guided through the registration process. You will not need to access any De Anza College resources for this course, other than purchasing the book and access code for Pearson. Specifically, YOU WILL NOT USE THE CATALYST SYSTEM FOR THIS COURSE. EXAMS ARE COMPLETELY ONLINE - You will not need to come to De Anza to take tests.
Hours of Study
Be prepared to spend a minimum of 10 hours per week using and studying the course materials.
How to get started in your course
Using the syllabus, email communication from the Instructor, and Home Page of the course, click "Course Calendar" and begin. The best way to navigate the system is to get to the Course Calendar and click on material showing a Due Date. Only the exams, MyVirtualChild, and one practice test (from ANY chapter) are required. The exercises and media assignments are very helpful, but they are not required. In order to be successful in the course, you will need to read the textbook thoroughly, learning material via note-taking on what you read, viewing media assignments, and generally immersing yourself in the course. However, each student will learn best in a different way.
