How to Get Your DASB Eco Pass
Thank you for choosing De Anza College to pursue your academic career. As a De Anza student, you can enjoy unlimited rides on VTA bus and light rail lines.
Just show your DASB Card with a valid DASB Eco Pass sticker to the bus driver or the light rail fare inspector.
A student is eligible to order and use the Eco Pass VTA transit pass provided that student's registration fees include the DASB card and mandatory Eco Pass fee.
Follow These Steps . . .
||Register for classes and pay your fees
Go to MyPortal to register for your classes. You will be automatically charged a mandatory Eco Pass fee — $4 for part-time students (11.5 or fewer units), $5 for full-time students (12 or more units) per quarter.
DASB Photo ID
You must pick up your DASB Card in person at the DASB Card Office, located in the Hinson Campus Center Lower Level. To have your picture taken, you must
- Be enrolled and registered for classes for the current or upcoming term
- Paid all fees or be on a payment plan
- Know your Student ID number
- Present your driver's license or other photo identification.
Note: The DASB Card Office is closed during winter and spring break.
Eco Pass Sticker
Starting with each registration period, go to the MyPortal Registration Tab to order your VTA Eco Pass sticker. Just look for the green leaf and follow the Request an Eco Pass link. You can order a sticker for the current term through week 8.
||Receive Your Sticker by Mail
||Your Eco Pass sticker will be mailed to the address that you provide when you place the order. If you do not receive the sticker within a week, please place a claim at the Office of College Life in the lower level of the Campus Center.
Eco Pass Sticker to Your DASB Card
When you receive your Eco Pass, peel off the sticker and place it on the back of your DASB card, on the bottom left corner under the magnetic strip.
The Eco Pass is for currently enrolled De Anza students only. Any other use constitutes fraud.
