Custodian Annie Kong has worked at De Anza for 13 years, and considers the campus her second home. “I learned English from courses that I took at De Anza,” Kong says. “Consequently, I am happy working here and giving back to De Anza students and staff.”

“I like my job because it’s very creative, which is an essential part of who I am,” Susi says. “It gives me a chance every day to exercise my creativity and collaborate on producing quality designs and messages for the college.”

Ajdarian explains that her job is to provide services, education and job training to clients with developmental disabilities, as well as clients with a dual diagnosis. “We enable students to achieve an optimum level of functional independence resulting in community-based employment,” she says. “I’m passionate about my job, and I truly enjoy working with our clients.”

C.J. Jones, coordinator of De Anza's Fitness and Wellness Center, became interested in the fitness industry 20 years ago, when she moved to Mountain View from Pennsylvania and took a De Anza class to become a group exercise instructor.

Mathir says his greatest joy is coming in to work every day knowing that the future of our country depends on the best possible education that can be provided to our students, and that the use of technology is one of the key instruments in achieving that goal.
