Title: Concepts for Today (a.k.a. Reading for Today 4)
Author: Smith, Lorraine and Nancy Mare
ISBN-13: 9781111033057
Publisher: Heinle ELT

I liked the organization of this book and the exercises that include reading, analysis, organization and word forms among others. The readings were interesting, but difficult. I typed a few short passages into Word to find the grade levels. From my experience, these readings have to be discussed in detail in class for the students to really understand them. There is no answer key in the student book. --Gretchen Himes
The dictionary practice work needs to be supplemented. The activities in the book are too challenging and confusing.
