BS Business Administration, California State University Chico; AA - Energy Management and Climate Policy, De Anza College
I have been a part time instructor at De Anza College since 2010. Currently, I am the Lead Energy Management and Building Science Instructor and Energy Management Program Coordinator for the Environmental Studies Department. I am actively writing new curriculum to broaden our educational offerings to position students for emerging energy and clean tech jobs and careers in Santa Clara County and throughout the State of California.

Additionally, I am working hard on bringing instructors into our program who are not only subject matter experts in their fields, but can also offer our students internship and job opportunities as part of the learning experience. Our focus is on classroom education, hands on laboratory work and actual job related experiences that make our students leading candidates for the growing energy and renewable energy career markets upon completion of our program.

In addition to teaching, I am the co- founder and VP of Marketing for a utility scale solar energy start up company. Prior to 2010, I spent 28 years in product and channel marketing and sales management for four different Silicon Valley companies. I enjoy teaching and mentoring students to assist them in finding and following their true passion in life and in making rewarding and fulfilling personal and career decisions.
