Best DASB Flea Market Vendor,

This message is to inform that the DASB Flea Market has been suspended in August and September and possibly for the remainder of the year. Given the continued rise of COVID-19 cases and Santa Clara County being placed on the state watch list, we do not have the approval needed to reopen. In the meantime, we will monitor developments over the coming weeks, continue to do research, and work on a detailed plan on how to safely reopen.

Once we have the approval to reopen, we will communicate this with you as well as share information on when/how to register. At the moment, we are not able to accept any vendor sign-up requests. We understand that many of you are concerned about not being assigned your old vendor space, please know that we will do the best of our ability to accommodate you in finding a vendor space which works for you while following our new guidelines.

We recognize that there is no correct answer to how to best operate throughout this never seen before situation, and rather than reopening too soon, we are hoping that the continued closure will give us enough time to establish new protocols and safety procedures to stop the spread of COVID-19. We appreciate your understanding with this decision as we want to ensure the safety of everyone attending our future events; employees, vendors, and the community.

We will continue to offer the free online DASB Flea Market for until we can resume to our normal operations. If you have an online store/website, we would happily add it to our online vendor listing. You can find the online flea market and information on how to be added by visiting: www.deanza.edu/fleamarket/online-market.

For the latest news, developments, and updates regarding fall Flea Market please visit our website or social media pages/accounts as listed here:

We, once again, apologize for having to cancel the Flea Markets and any inconvenience this may cause. Please know that we do not take these cancellations lightly as we recognize that many vendors rely on our Flea Market as a source of income. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility while we are trying to find ways to safely return to a sense of normalcy.

Sincerely,

Sofi Tofte
Interim DASB Flea Market Coordinator
