Thank you!

Many thanks to all those who participated in our campus donation drive and collection efforts at San José fire stations last month.

Here are more ways to help

De Anza College supports its students, faculty and classified professionals who have family or friends affected by the disastrous hurricanes of 2017.

While the federal government moved quickly to assist those in Florida and Texas, aid has arrived more slowly in United States territories of the Caribbean, particularly Puerto Rico.

These aid groups are focused on helping people in those devastated areas:

  • small girl in line with water canThe One America Appeal is a joint effort by all five living former American presidents. You can designate your contribution to be used in Puerto Rico or in other areas.
  • Save the Children is accepting donations to assist families affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
  • UNICEF USA is mobilizing to deliver emergency relief kits with critical supplies to the children of Puerto Rico.

Keep checking this page for more information on ways the De Anza community can help.
