"Not a Genuine Black Man" Author Brian Copeland to Speak at De Anza
This talk is part of the Silicon Valley Reads series. The funny and poignant memoir is about Copeland's growing up in the 1970s as one of the first African-American families in San Leandro. The book is the subject of numerous programs throughout Santa Clara County through April, as readers throughout Silicon Valley are asked to read the same book at the same time and discuss it. Please join us for this special community event. The book is available at the De Anza Bookstore and will be sold in the Campus Center on the day of the event.
