Option 1: Certification for Those New to Canvas
Canvas Certification consists of two parts, each with two modules.
Module 1: Preparing for the Journey - online, self-paced, minimum 1 hour
Module 2: Getting on the Road - face-to-face, 2 hours
Module 3: Faculty @ Work - online, self-paced, minimum 3 hours
Module 4: Final Tune-Up - face-to-face, 1 hour
To get started, sign up for Part A. Your Canvas account will be created (typically
within 2 business days) and you will have access to a Development Shell and Module
1 of our Canvas Certification Course. You must complete Module 1 online before attending
your Module 2 workshop.

You will sign up for Part B upon the completion of Part A. More information will be available when you attend your Module 2 workshop.

Great! If you've received Canvas training elsewhere and/or have already taught with Canvas and can demonstrate the above knowledge, we want to accommodate you and put you on the fast-track to certification.
This certification contains two parts: Module 1 from our regular certification training (online) and a 1-hour Canvas Tune-Up Face-to-Face session.

Once you sign up, your Canvas account will be created typically within 2 business days. You will have access to a Development Shell, a requested Catalyst shell you want migrated, and our Canvas Certification Course. You must complete Module 1 online before attending your workshop.
