Hello, and welcome to Flash CS5 Graphic/Animation software. I am very happy you are taking this course as I believe Flash software can be a very valuable tool to creating fantastic web-pages and animation. I hope you leave this course having a greater understanding of the capabilities of Flash, along with a sense of accomplishment. If you need to contact me, the best way is to email me at I check this email account several times a day. I will get back you within 48 hours or sooner. If you feel you need to talk to me in person, please contact me to schedule an appointment.

What is Flash CS5
Flash CS5 is professional standard software, used in industry, to produce animation found in websites.

Course Requirements
Be prepared to spend at least 5 hours per week using and studying Flash software. You will work through the chapter exercises in the book as well as create hands on training exercises provided by the instructor. You will also create two comprehensive projects demonstrating your newly learned Flash skills. A final exam will be given at the end of the quarter.
Also, you will need to have reliable email and an internet connection. Because the class is 100% online, your hardware and connectivity is a vital part of communicating with the instructor.

Students are required to have email and Internet access for the class. Students must make sure they receive my class emails by verifying their mailboxes are not full. Also, students must make sure my class emails are not accidentally going into the Junk Mail file. It is the students responsibility to assure email authenticity on their end.

Drop Policy:
Students may be dropped from the class if they are inactive for two weeks or more. This rule applies throughout the quarter. The online class generates a report showing all students online activity including logins, therefore, all inactive students may be dropped. Please review the De Anza College academic calendar for the last day to drop a class.
