Meet our Student Ambassadors
What can a Student Ambassador do for you?
- Encourage a prospective student to pursue a higher education.
- Give a young perspective on how to transition to college and what to do once you get here.
- Offer support to students to assist them with anything they need to be successful here — whether it be tutoring, financial aid or how to get involved on campus.
Our Student Ambassadors are very active on campus and can give you the inside scoop on the different clubs and programs that we have at De Anza!
If you are interested in becoming a Student Ambassador, email miesorob@deanza.edu.

"I've been at De Anza for 2 years. I am majoring in psychology and plan to transfer to a UC once I get my major classes done. Being a student ambassador has given me a better outlook on college and has taught me more about the college system. I feel it is my duty to tell every high school student about what they can do to get into college, and that no one should ever consider not going college. Email me if you have any questions."

"I have been attending De Anza College for 1 year. I am on the Track and Field Team and also involved in Student Success and Retention Services Program. De Anza has been awesome in preparing me to transfer to a university in the fall. Being a student ambassador has allowed me to share my knowledge with new students and support them to reach the same goal. Please email me if you have in questions about De Anza!"

"Hey everyone. This is my second year at De Anza College. My major is Social Work, and I plan to transfer to San Jose State in Fall of '10. Currently I am very involved in school. I'm on the Woman's Soccer team and in L.E.A.D. (Latina/o Empowerment at De Anza). As a student ambassador, I get to work with youth and represent De Anza as a Latina, which shows that Latinos can succeed and go to college. That's why I'm here to represent my community. Don't hesitate to email me because I'm always happy to give a hand."
