About the Student Campuswide ID

To help prevent identity theft and to comply with government legislation, De Anza provides students with an assigned Student Identification Number (SID), also known as Campuswide ID. This SID/CWID is an 8-digit, system-generated number that is used instead of your Social Security Number.

All students are required to use this number to log in to the registration system.

If you don't know, have forgotten or lost your SID/CWID, you will be required to present a photo identification at the Admissions and Records Office to retrieve the number. For security reasons, personal identification numbers cannot be released over the phone or through email.
