Code Of Conduct

All De Anza students are obligated to follow the Standard of Conduct. Board Policy 5500, approved 1/4/99, and its Appendix AP-5500 describes Student Rights and Responsibilities and disciplinary procedures applicable to misconduct.

It states that

“Foothill and De Anza consider the following princiles essential to its educational mission and its community life:

1. Mutual respect between students, faculty and staff
2. Pursuit of studies with honesty and integrity
3. Respect for College and personal property
4. Compliance with all rules and regulations

Receipt of this Handbook obligates you, the student, to familiarize yourself with and understand the behavioral expectations and standards of the District. Misconduct in these areas shall subject the student to college disciplinary action.
