Reduced Load

Students at De Anza College may enroll in as few units as they wish. For general purposes, the college designates 12 units a quarter as a “full load.” A company, organization or program may request you carry a full load to qualify for some benefits.
For instance, health insurers may expect students to carry a full load as defined by the college.

If you believe your disability impacts your ability to meet a load requirement, you may consult with your counselor/advisor. However, we cannot require any outside group to modify a load decision.
