Adjunct Group Study Sessions

WEEK 1: PRESENTATIONS IN THE CLASSROOMS!

WEEK 2:  PREVIEW WEEK!  Students may attend a group session to learn more about the program with no obligation to add or pay for the 1/2 unit class in week 2.  Shop around and see who you want to work with as your Supplemental Instructor.

WEEK 3: SESSIONS START & RECEIVE AN ADD CODE BY THE S.I. IN THE GROUP SESSION ONLY.

WEEK 4: STUDENTS CAN STILL SHOW UP TO SEE IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE. If space is available, the S.I. will provide an Add Code through Wed. 5/1.  Students wanting a Thursday or Friday group session must show up in Week 3 to secure an add code because the add deadline is Wed. 5/1 at 11:59 p.m. (no exceptions to this deadline).

WEEK 11: GROUP SESSIONS END

Students MUST attend the first group session (Session #1) in week 3 of the quarter (Mon 4/22 - Fri 4/26) to reserve a seat and receive an add code for SKIL 232.  Students can receive an Add Code in week 4 at Session #2 if space is available and the add deadline has not passed..  

Space is limited -- add codes will be given to those who are seated at the group on time, on a first come - first served basis.  Once you receive an add code, you must register and show up to the following session (Session #2) in week 4 otherwise your space will be filled by another student.

If you did not receive an add code in the first session, please show up to the next session in week 4 to see if there is space, and before the add deadline on Wed. 5/1 at 11:59p.m. in MyPortal.  You may contact the Skills Center in Library 107A to learn more.

All students must complete an Online Orientation by the end of week 5.  An Orientation & Study Skills Inventory Quiz is required in Catalyst by the due date.  

The deadline to register in Adjunct Study SKILLS 232 is Wednesday, May 1 at 11:59 p.m. in MyPortal

If you did not register by this deadline, then you cannot sit in a group session. The deadline to drop the class with no grade of record is Wed. 5/1 (can drop with W until 6/11).
