Tutoring in World Languages

Are you taking a foreign language class? Would you like to improve your grammar,

reading and writing, or listening and speaking skills in that language? Our tutors
from around the world can help you!

Weekly Individual Tutoring

In Weekly Individual Tutoring, you can work with the same tutor throughout the quarter. You and your tutor will meet in the LSC once a week. During this time, you can work on areas and topics that you need help with and learn strategies to study the subject better on your own.

  • You must be a currently registered De Anza student enrolled in the course for which you are requesting a tutor.
How to apply:
  1. Complete and submit the Weekly Individual Tutee Application for World Languages.
(We currently offer tutoring in Japanese, Korean, Mandarine, French, and Russian. Spanish and German tutoring is no longer available this quarter. We are very sorry for any inconvenience.)
