Applying for the AA-T/AS-T Degree

For Fall 2013 CSU Transfer Students
     CSU Priority Application Filing period is October 1 - November 30, 2012.

Petition for AA-T/AS-T Degree due: February 15, 2013 *

     a)  Select [view] options to determine open/closed majors
     b)  Select [view] option under "Campus Notice for Transfer" to see restrictions.
     c)  Follow the directions provided by each campus on the Website above and on the campus's
          admissions page. 


  Step 1: Download and complete the self-assessment form for your major. 
              (De Anza offers (4) Associate Degrees for Transfer at this time. 
              Additional degrees will be added as they are approved by the CCC System Office)

              AS-T Business Administration
              AA-T Communication Studies
              AA-T Kinesiology
              AS-T Mathematics

  Step 2: If you have determined your eligibility, fill out the bottom section of the self-assessment
                form and make an appointment to see a counselor or adviser to apply for the degree. 

  Step 3: Meet with the counselor or adviser.  Bring the completed Self-Assessment form to your
                appointment.  And, if applicable, also bring a copy of your CSU Application.
 

* The February 15, 2013 deadline applies to students who submitted their CSU Undergraduate Admissions Application for Fall 2013 transfer and need to provide the CSU campus with AA-T/AS-T verification. 

Degree petitions received after this deadline will be processed, but if you are a student applying to CSU for Fall 2013 (to a similar major) you must inform each applicable CSU campus that you are expecting to receive this AA-T/AS-T degree.  If notification to CSU occurs after March 15, 2013, you may not receive priority admission consideration but, in consultation with the CSU campus, may receive other benefits related to the AA-T/AS-T degree.
