Minimum number of transferable units required to sign TAA:  45 quarter units

Minimum number of units required to complete TAA:  45 - 75 quarter units

Plan A:  Must complete at least 45 quarter units, including specific courses for certain majors*, by the end of spring for fall transfer, or by the end of fall for spring transfer.

Plan B:  Will complete at least 75 quarter units, including specific courses for certain majors*, by the end of spring for fall transfer, or by the end of fall for spring transfer.

Minimum GPA required to sign TAA: 3.0**
** No grade below a "C" in your last quarter.

Minimum GPA required to complete TAA: 3.0***
*** Must maintain the cumulative 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing your last term ,with no grade less than a "C".

Additional Information:

• Students who wrote or plan to write a TAA with a CSU or another independent institution are not eligible.
• When evaluating the cumulative GPA be aware that academic renewal does not apply. University of the Pacific will use the highest grade if a class is repeated.
• Grades of C- or lower do not carry any units, though they do count in the GPA calculation.
• Non-transferable courses do not count in the GPA.
• The maximum number of transferable units accepted by University of the Pacific from a two-year school is one hundred and five (105) quarter units.
• Students working toward high school graduation do not qualify for the TAA.
• TAA is NOT available for the following programs/majors:

  • Biochemistry
  • Biology
  • Chemistry - Biology
  • Conservatory of Music (all programs)
  • Dentistry/Dental-Hygiene
  • Law/Pre-Law
  • Pharmacy/Pre-Pharmacy
  • Physical Therapy
  • Psychology
  • Sociology
  • Speech Language Pathology
  • Sport Science (all programs)
  • ALL Pre-Health Professions

Fall: January 15 prior to transfer term

Spring: June 15 prior to transfer term
