Minimum number of UC-transferable units required to sign TAG:  45 quarter units

Minimum number of UC-transferable units required to complete TAG:  90 quarter units must be completed by the end of spring prior to fall transfer.

Minimum GPA required to sign TAG:  3.0 to qualify*

TAG available to International Students?  No

Additional information (GPA, course requirements, limitations,etc.):

• Admission to a particular major is not guaranteed.
• Admission to a particular undergraduate college is not guaranteed.
• Full completion of Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) is required.
• Must submit your IGETC certification form by the deadline July 15, 2010 (IGETC completed by end of Spring 2010).
• Must earn a cumulative 3.0 minimum UC GPA earned by the end of Fall term 2009 and maintained each quarter through the end of Spring term 2010.
• Both of the UC English courses and the UC math course must be completed by the end of Fall 2009, prior to Fall 2010 admission.
• TAG is for students who transfer with junior class standing. If you will have senior class standing, TAG does not apply.

TAG Filing Period

No formal contract is required.  Students who indicate "UCSD TAG" & "IGETC" on their UC application will be screened at the time of application.
