Transfer Planning

Transfer by Campus - UC Berkeley

If you are interested in applying to any UC from De Anza College you can improve your chances for successful transfer with careful planning and course selection.  Students are advised to consult with a De Anza College counselor or academic advisor to confirm their choice of classes and to develop an education plan for transfer.  Some four-year college and university admissions representatives schedule visits to the De Anza campus and are available to meet with prospective applicants in person.

Transfer applicants may want to become familiar with the key elements for transfer to the UC, which include satisfying the UC minimum admission requirements.  In addition, students may review the UC requirements for general educationmajor preparation, and selective majors prior to meeting with a counselor, academic advisor or admissions representative.

Students are advised to consult with a De Anza College counselor or academic advisor as early as possible to confirm your choice of classes and to develop an education plan for transfer.

Visit the Meet with a Counselor page to view the academic services available through the De Anza College Counseling & Advising Center or stop by the Counseling & Advising Center located on the 2nd floor of the Student & Community Services Building during hours of operation.
