- Apply Online
- After you receive your De Anza welcome letter with your student ID number, try your first-time MyPortal login.
- How to report a problem: If the CCCApply application or your MyPortal login do not work as described, please fill out the A&R Help Form.

Order Transcripts
- Order transcripts from all colleges that you previously attended, including military institutions. Request military transcripts at:
- AARTS
- SMART
- CGI
- CCAF

Take Placement Tests

Visit the De Anza Veterans Office to start your file
- Bring the following documents to the De Anza Veterans Office:
- DD-214 Member 4 Copy
- Copy of submitted VONAPP
- Official Transcripts
- Assessment Results

Apply for Financial Aid

Run a Degree Audit
- Log in to MyPortal to use DegreeWorks (see Student Tab) to plan your classes based on your major and any courses completed at another institution.

See a Counselor
- Visit the Counseling Website for appointment availability
- Meet with a De Anza Counselor to complete a Veteran's Education Plan for a VA Approved Program.
- Submit a copy of your completed Veteran's Education Plan to the De Anza Veteran's Office.

Register for Classes

Authorize Certification
You must authorize certification each quarter you wish to receive benefits. You may authorize in two ways:
- Visit the Veterans Office and sign your schedule.
OR
- Copy Your Schedule of Classes from MyPortal and e-mail to pasqualishari@fhda.edu, indicating you want to be certified.

Attend Classes
- Be on time for the first class meeting. Otherwise, you may be dropped from the class.
- If you no longer want to be enrolled in a class, it is your responsibility to officially drop classes.
- Need help in your classes? Free academic tutorial support is available through our Student Success Center.
