Faculty Website Guide

Workshops and Open Lab Schedule

All workshops and open lab sessions meet in the MLC Staff Development Computer Lab (Room 243).

A Web Team member will be available during these times to demonstrate how to use the key tools for creating and editing faculty web pages and answer any questions you may have.

IMPORTANT: Faculty Website Request Required to Attend Workshop or Lab

  • If you do not already have an OU Campus faculty website, request a faculty profile at least three (3) working days prior to attending a workshop or lab date.
  • If you plan to attend either a workshop or open lab session, please email the webteam@deanza.edu so that we know to expect you.
  • You will receive your new faculty profile URL and OU Campus login username and password prior to the workshop or lab date.

FALL 2014

OUTCOME: You will be able to complete the following tasks after this two-hour workshop.

  • Log into and edit your profile home page
  • Create a course page
  • Link the course page from the left menu
  • Upload and link to a document
  • Upload and post an image

LABS: Open lab times are scheduled following most faculty workshops if you'd like to stay or come back to work on your website with Web Team on-hands support.

If one of these dates and times is not convenient with your schedule, please email the Web Team at webteam@deanza.edu with your available dates and times and we will try to schedule a workshop or open lab to meet your need.
