Summer 2013 Spanish Classes

Spanish is one of many world languages taught at De Anza. We provide a wide range of course levels to meet the needs of our students, including introductory and/or elementary sequences for all foreign languages offered, and intermediate and advanced courses for some.

In the Academic Year 2009-2010 and subsequently, the Conversational Spanish course offerings were suspended with the statewide budget crisis for post-secondary schools, based on historically low class enrollments.

If you have studied a language at another institution, please see the detailed instructions in the World Languages Prerequisite Clearance.  If you would like to speak or email a Spanish language instructor, please see our Spanish department faculty list.

Please follow these general rules to decide which course level is best for you.

• One year of high school language is equal to one quarter of De Anza language. For example, if you took Spanish 1 & 2 in high school, you can continue with Spanish 3 at De Anza.
