Adjunct Skills Orientation

The purpose of the Orientation is to inform you about the requirements and procedures to successfully pass the 1/2 unit SKIL course (Adjunct Study Skills 232/233).  Combined with weekly group study sessions and study skills labs, you will learn to maximize your time to Study Smarter, Not Harder!

In order to complete this orientation, you will need to be familiar with Catalyst and how to log on. New to Catalyst? Download a PDF of the Catalyst Getting Started Guide.

Course Syllabus and Skills Lab Sheet.
step 3 Take the Study Skill Inventory, if you have not already done so. Make sure to write down your results. You'll need them for the next step!  
step 4 Take the Orientation Quiz.
You'll need to log in to Catalyst to complete the quiz. This is how you receive credit for completing the orientation.


The deadline to complete the Orientation for credit is the end of Week 5.  Please refer to the Course Syllabus for due dates and deadlines.

Students are given credit in their Catalyst Gradebook after completing and passing the Orientation Quiz in Catalyst by the deadline.
